Matured in cement allowing for the flavour to be free of oak interference and therefore coming purely from the grape, Le Argille Cabernet di Cabernet is one of 47 Anno Domini’s most exquisite wines. 

Intense ruby red, this wine is warm and complex with an enveloping aroma to match. Its long finish demands a second glass.

At 15% ABV this Italian red wine comes in with booming, staggered flavours creating a sensation journey in each sip. Have with dinner or desert and be ready for an experience.

Tasting Notes: Aged in cement, this Cabernet di Cabernet comes with all the exquisite and unique flavours of the grape. The flavour comes in stages, starting with mature berries, then moving into more depth with black cherries, vanilla, and a hint of plum and finally ending with nuances of tobacco, dark chocolate, and pepper. In a nutshell, it’s warm, elegant, mature, and complex.  

Food Pairing: This wine is extremely versatile. You can enjoy it with strong savoury flavours like game or venison, but it also pairs sublimely with sweeter tastes such as jams and pastries. Let us know which pairing you prefer!

About the Winemaker: Made by 47 Anno Domini, a family ran vineyard centred in Italy that is now in its third generation. They are passion driven, wine centred and believe that making wine is more than just a concept, it is a lifestyle.

Simply Superb

Intense ruby red, that is warm and inviting. It gives a wonderful aroma of mature berries and dark chocolate. The taste is relaxed, but complex, that opens up easily to reveal mature berries, cherry and plum with a lovely lingering aftertaste with hints of tobacco, green pepper and vanilla. In short, it’s elegant, mature, complex and extremely enjoyable. You simply won’t be disappointed as this wine punches way above its price point.

This wine is amazing, mellow yet fruity, not dry nor sweet. Wine is a personal taste but the whole family love this one. We had a bottle as a gift, a unique one at that in a cement covered bottle . We have now purchased 3 , 2 for gifts and one for ourselves! It comes in a sturdy box making it extra special if gifting . This one is a must try.

Fabulous Red

Tried this Red in a Restaurant in Tenby, it’s full bodied and packed with flavour. It has an unusual cement coating on the bottle. My one criticism is as it’s very easy to drink I have to share it with my Wife . Will definitely recommend and purchase again.
