Food Pairings: To be honest, this is a great one on its own, after dinner, with a bit of choccy to nibble on.
About the Winemaker: Domaine Pouderoux is a large estate tucked away in the Agly Valley region of France. The Domaine was established in 1862 and has been going strong since. In the early 1900’s, Paul Pouderoux took over the estate and exclusively produced fortified wines. Today, they still remain a force in fortified wine production but many of their vignerons are starting to turn their attention to non-fortified wines. Watch this space.
