Product Highlights

Another stand-out port from the Quinta de la Rosa winery, this late bottled vintage makes it easy drinking yet still deep in flavour.

Filtering before bottling means it’s ready to drink and slightly lighter bodied than a full vintage port.

A real classic paired with a blue cheese, bring this bottle out after dinner as a perfect finisher with your cheeseboard.

Tasting Notes: Quinta de la Rosa’s LBV port is perfectly blended with good fruit flavours. You’ll notice its indulgent aromas typical of a port, but it’s slightly lighter for a softer taste.

Winemaking Notes: Blend: Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and some Tinta Cão and Barroca, 20% ABV, from Douro, Portugal

Food Pairings: A late bottled vintage port is meant to match with a creamy, soft blue cheese. Instead of a Stilton, why not try Beauvale: an indulgent, full-fat, cow’s milk cheese? We’ve chosen it to pair with this port in our virtual tasting events as it’s award-winning; Beauvale was crowned Best Blue Cheese at the 2017 British Cheese Awards.

About the Winemaker: The Bergqvist Family make this LBV port on their famous Quinta de la Rosa estate. The winery in Portugal combines old heritage with a new winery, which offers accommodation and tasting areas for its guests as well as excellent port production facilities.
