Barkham Blue is hand made by the artisan cheese makers Sandy and Andy Rose of Two Hoots. The family-owned and operated dairy is no stranger to success, having picked up best English, best blue and the supreme cheese award for its Barkham Blue. They decided to use Jersey and Guernsey cows as Sandy grew up on a farm where her parentsa also used them. This choice sets Barkham apart as traditionally the richness is suseptable to go sour with blue veining. However their risk is our reward with this champion blue.
