A cheese tasting designed for two people – delivered right to your door. Part of the Guinness world record attempt for largest virtual tasting. Hosted by Marcus Brigstocke. Tune in to a completely unique experience, and enjoy the finer things in life from your sofa.
How it works?
This is an online blind tasting of 6 cheddars. Each cheddar will be wrapped and numbered. You only need to order your cheese and join the online tasting. Participants will be given a link to a formatted tasting sheet. This will be used to professionally asses each cheddar with the expert cheese panel and producers. Comedian and cheese lover Marcus Brigstocke. Everyone is welcome to watch live online from anywhere in the World. Obviously having the cheese with you is a bonus as you will be able to interact with the producers and cheese panel.
This tasting is slightly different to our normal virtual tastings as we offer you 6 British cheeses, with the option of having wine, while our hosts will guide you through each cheese, ensuring that your weekends are entertaining and informative (if not a little tipsy)!
Delivery
Delivery is included in the price. We will send out your tasting box, which will arrive on either Thursday or Friday before the event.
Where to keep your box
When your tasting box arrives, put the cheese in the fridge straight away. Keep the white wine chilled and the red wine at room temperature to really get the flavours going.
When to serve the cheese
Make sure to take the cheeses out of the fridge beforehand (we recommend an hour to an hour-and-a-half before the live event). It wants to come down to room temperature before you taste it.
The cheeses go well with your choice of bread, crackers, and chutney, and you can also serve them with olives and meat. Get creative! There are no wrong accompaniments here.
