Flavour Profile/Aroma
The wine is packed with fruity, red berry richness with a natural sweetness. You’ll also pick up the subtle aromas of red fruit jams, such as raspberries and cherries.
Recommended food pairings
Choose a hard, nutty cheese like Spenwood to accompany this wine. As a ewe’s milk cheese with a natural rind, it’s great in pasta or risottos that also make a perfect pairing for Pinot Gris.
Growing Conditions
Grapes grown on 135 hectares of quality vineyards enjoy perfect climatic conditions. They’re harvested at an altitude of 980m, with the melting ice from the Andes Mountains providing a natural irrigation system.
Winemaking notes
Pinot Gris grapes spend 12 months in new French oak, as well as 12 months ageing in bottle, before release. This helps to keep the delicate aromas and natural sweetness of the grape.
