Flavour Profile: Imagine the creamy, nutty flavours of Gloucester cheese infused with the earthy and oaky flavours of black truffle. This cheese has made all our truffle dreams come true.
Drinks Pairing: We recommend trying a lovely full bodied red like Vintrigue’s Pinot Noir, a wine that is jam packed with fruity and full flavours
About the Maker: Made by expert cheese maker Simon Weaver, Truffle Gloucester is a ‘farmhouse natural rind single Gloucester cheese’ and won Cheese of the Year by Country Life in 2018. Truffle Gloucester is aged for up to 18 months in ideal conditions to develop and intensify the cheese’s natural flavours.
How to Enjoy: This cheese is ‘grate’ sprinkled on top of pasta or salad to give your dish a fancy feel. Truffle Gloucester even goes great grilled in a toastie or melted into a fondue, go wild!
