Yorkshire Haloum is rich and creamy with a balanced flavour.
Yorkshire Dama Cheese was started by Razan Alsous, a Syria Immigrant came to start a new life in the UK. She started producing a fresh cow’s milk cheese similar to what she knew from back home, and not far off a traditional Halloumi cheese. And so was born Haloum! Numerous awards later and her start has gone from strength to strength. Like Halloumi, Haloum is as delicious raw in a salad as it is grilled or fried.
Phoebe loves Haloum fried until crispy. Especially with a bit of salad and crusty bread.
