Yorkshire Dama Cheese was started by Razan Alsous, a Syrian immigrant who came to the UK to start a new life. Alsous started producing a fresh cow’s milk cheese that was not too different to the traditional Halloumi-style cheese she was used to in Syria, and so was born Haloum! Numerous awards later and Alsous’ start within the cheese industry has gone from strength to strength.
Yorkshire Squeaky Cheese is delicious grilled or fried, and is the perfect vegetarian alternative at a BBQ! You can even grate it on top of pasta, or slice it thinly for a tasty salad topper.
